Description

On your wildlife tour with an expert guide, you will have the opportunity to explore one of the most biologically diverse regions in the world where you can come across 44 species of mammals, 192 birds, 33 reptiles, 5 amphibians, and 9 fish.

The Caucasus Wildlife Refuge (CWR) is a privately protected 10,000 hectares territory surrounding Khosrov Forest State Reserve. This area was purchased by FPWC to encourage the population growth of rare wildlife species in the region such as Armenian Mouflon, Syrian Brown Bears, Bezoar Goats, Bearded Vultures, and Caucasian Leopards. Even if you do not see a bear or leopard, you will surely feel the spirit of these apex predators through footprints and droppings, marking the comeback of our endangered wildlife.
