Gyulagarak (next to Stepanavan Dendropark)

Very soon will be ready our five luxurious glamping tents located in Gulagarak are for all those who are tired of the classic hotel culture and are trying to balance comfort and relaxation in a natural, rural environment. This old Armenian village stands out for its dense green forests, with the Gargar river flowing through. Right in the middle of all this charming environment are our glamping pods, which are furnished with sustainable amenities and solar heating plants.
You can start your day with the delicious and healthy homemade breakfast , then take an E-bike and begin your adventurous discoveries in “Dendropark”.
The surroundings of Gulagarak are also attractive from the point of view of historical and cultural monuments: Tormakadur village with its Tormak Church (6th century), Saint Gevorg Chapel (4th-5th centuries) and Gyulagarak Church (19th century).
As our first accommodation outside of the Caucasus Wildlife Refuge (CWR), Gulagarak was chosen as a glamping destination for more than just its natural beauty. Being a social entrepreneurship, SunChild Eco Tours will undertake the cleaning of the Gargar River.
“Sunchild Eco Tours” was supported by the EU4Business “Innovative Tourism and Technology Development for Armenia (ITTD)” project, co-funded by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented by GIZ.
